Dr. Kugonza is an Animal Scientist and Associate Professor; he holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture, M.Sc. in Agriculture (Animal Science), a first class MBA from Amity Business School (India) and a PhD from Makerere University in Uganda where he now lectures on Livestock and Poultry breeding; Animal Agriculture; Apiculture; Genetics (to undergraduates); Advances in Molecular genetics; and Advanced Animal breeding (to post-graduates).

Dr. Kasingabalya has 35 years’ experience of development practice focused on the designing, implementation and evaluation of livestock development programs. Much of this work has addressed issues of institutional re-forms and supporting organizations to re-examine their role, formulate a new vision and institute changes to improve their effectiveness in contributing to sustainable development and impact.
Dr. Cyprian Ebong
Dr. Ebong has been working in Animal Production Research for over 26 years to date. During these years he has been involved in applied and systems research in livestock production; particularly crop-livestock integration. He rose progressively through the ranks of research management as detailed below; and mentored a number of young scientists in Uganda and Rwanda with whom he coauthored a number of publications and wrote award-winning proposals in competitive grant projects across commodities and disciplines in agricultural research for development.
Dr. Sekimpi Patrick
Chairman of Dairy Farmers’ Network (DAFAN) Uganda with a membership of over 300 dairy farmers operating in the peri-urban areas of the central region with seven clusters in Gayaza, Mukono, Kayunga, Buikwe, Mpigi, Entebbe road and Kakiri in Wakiso district. The network’s activities include monthly study trainings at farm level about different aspects of dairy farming like fodder conservation with support from NaLIRRI and also dairy farm visits in Uganda and Kenya.
